76. Gifted for Ministry: Men & Women in the Church

In 2018 after a church-wide study and much discernment on the part of the leadership at Central, women’s leadership expanded to include participating during the worship hour. When we read the Bible as a story—a story that’s taking us somewhere—we get a better idea of what God has to say about men and women who were created in His image. Central is inviting people to purse opportunities to grow in their faith, and we are called to use our gifts given by God for the good of the church and our city—men and women, younger and older, all people together.

We’re going to have more conversation about this topic for the next 6 weeks on Sunday mornings (9:00am in Room 14 at Central). This class is an opportunity to take Scripture and work through the text as a community of people, to open the dialogue and try to come to a better understanding of what God is saying to us. We will strive to faithfully wrestle with the text as we follow Jesus. We hope you’ll join us!
