Today we want to introduce Sadie & Landon Camp! Sadie and Landon have been married 4 years. Sadie is originally from Seminole and is in her 2nd year at Texas Tech Vet school. Landon is from Shallowater and is the new assistant band director at Caprock HS and Fannin MS. They love anything outdoors, such as hiking, tennis, skiing, and traveling. One of the most noticeable things that drew them to Central was how friendly everyone has been and how they’ve felt so welcome since visiting!

“AWE AND AMAZEMENT IN JESUS’ COMMUNITY”
For the month of September, there is an adult class on Wednesday nights on the topic of “Awe and Amazement in Jesus’ Community.” A variety of teachers will be presenting. Join us in the Commons classroom from 7-8pm!
BIBLE INTENSIVE: BOOK OF COLOSSIANS
If you desire deeper biblical knowledge, this is the event for you. We’re diving into the book of Colossians, and Scott Meyer (Minister at Western Hills Church of Christ in Temple), will give us an in-depth look into this portion of Scripture. This 2-hour intensive is for all ages!
Brunch is provided from 9:30am-10:00am, and the Bible Intensive is in the Commons room from 10:00am-11:30am on Saturday, September 13.
PALO DURO CANYON CAMPOUT
SEPTEMBER 5-6
Let’s go camping! RV and tent sites are available for $60 plus park entry fee. Cabins (outside the park) are also available for $100 plus park entry fee. Contact Kenneth Shepherd at 806.316.2149 for more information.
If you would like to join in the activities but not camp, come to the Canyon and join us during the day! (Park entry fee required.)
