FAITH FORUM: THE SHAPE OF JOY
Our fourth Faith Forum will be Sunday, December 7, and we are excited to have Dr. Richard Beck. Dr. Beck is a professor at Abilene Christian University and a prolific author. Faith Forum will focus on his book “The Shape of Joy”. The event will feature 3 sessions from 9:00am-1:30pm. More info on the app.

Welcome Kenneth and Sandra Rapp as they join the faith community here at Central! Sandra grew up in Midland, while Kenneth is from the Lubbock and Amarillo area. They have been married 32 years. When they’re not serving as relief house parents at High Plains Children’s Home, Ken enjoys doing research, cooking, and art. Sandra loves to read, write, and spend time with grandkids. We’re excited to get to know you more and welcome to Central!
Michael Contreras grew up in Amarillo and went to Amarillo High! He is the grandson of Henry and Delores Contreras and works at Austin Hose. He enjoys being with family in his free time, loves the kindness and homey feeling at Central, and is excited to be a part of this faith community.
Blu Malone and Jami Joiner are joining us today! Blu grew up in Panhandle and Jami in Amarillo. When they’re not taking care of their 3 boys (Xander, Gavin, and Jude), they enjoy traveling, foreign films, game nights, and making friends and family laugh. They were drawn to Central’s kind-hearted and welcoming community.

Welcome in the Christmas season with an interactive, family faith experience focusing on the weeks of Advent, and we'll even provide the materials for you! Sign up on the app to receive a family advent box. Inside the box, you will find everything you need to make your own advent wreath. Then, you can use the included devotional to guide your family through each week's advent candle lighting! Advent box pickup will be Sunday, November 30, at the children’s check in desk.
